Even though World Vision Lanka traditionally relied on funding from overseas, with our new strategy, our programmes are going to be focusing on only one sector that has the most pressing needs in each area where we work. The overseas funding will focus on these programmes.

However, since there are lots of vulnerable people in need, who may not qualify for our traditional programmes, we are reaching out to those who can and are willing to help support them. The fundraising portal will help us enhance our support system and enable us to support more families.

Accountability is key to World Vision and your trust in us is of utmost importance. If you donate to a project, you will be updated about how the funds have been utilised.

Before we publish a need or a project on this portal, World Vision does a thorough assessment of the needs of the individual/family. We work with the individual/family in the plan of fulfilling the need.

World Vision team will also monitor the use of the funds and the progress.
